Ndorwa East has 61 Government aided  primary schools including 12 Kyanamira Sub county, 14 in Kaharo Sub county, 17 in Maziba Sub county, 18 in Buhara Sub county, and several Private primary schools. There are a number of Secondary schools including St Francis College Kyanamira, Kigata High school, Kamuronko SS, Kahondo SS, Rwesasi SS, Bishop Kivengyere Girls Muyebe, Buhara SS, Harambee & St John’s Nyakigugwe. Other private Secondary schools include Bishop Robert Gay Nyanja and St. Conrad Secondary & vocational School. There is one Vocational institute i.e Kizinga Technical which is Government-aided.

I know how important education is in transforming society and I will focus on ensuring that the products from these schools are able to compete with the rest of the children from the rest of the country by facilitating engagement of key stakeholders like teachers, head teachers, parents, and established products of these schools for a comprehensive approach to ensuring the best environment for learners and teachers.

A protracted effort to sensitize stakeholders on the possible roles they can play in this revolution, mobilizing some of the scholastic materials like textbooks for school libraries, regular interaction with key authorities, and mobilizing key gallant sons and daughters of the land who went through these schools will be top on my list. Interschool debates, external examinations and examiner led workshops for candidates will also be looked into to help the young stars get proper guidance.
