The Students that hail from Ndorwa East Constituency, under their association dubbed Ndorwa East Students Association – NDESA are set to mobilize all students across the country to continue fostering their contribution towards community development.

While speaking at the Handover ceremony of the Makerere University Chapter, Alexander Kyokwijuka, who was the guest of Honor, and former Chairman of the same Association, encouraged students to be committed to their studies but also ensure to create valuable networks that will help them in their life after school.

The humble citizen from Kigarama, in Maziba, shared his education journey with the students in attendance and assured them that they are the force that will transform the communities. He promised to help and support them to mobilize all other students across the country and also to help formalize the association at grassroots level so their impact can be felt by the people back home.

Other invited guests who also shared valuable life tips include Mr. Mutatinensi Dedan (Former chairman of the association in 2010/11), Ms. Aharimpisya Agatha also former Chairperson (2013/15), among others. The invited guests also promised to keep supporting the association, and encouraged the students to always each out for support.

Mr. Denis Twinomuhangi, a Second year student of Education was sworn in as Chairman of the Association, taking over from Mr. Asaasira Brian, who had served the Association for over 4 years. The students appreciated the Chief Guest and other invited guests for supporting them always.

As usual, the humble citizen from Kigarama, encouraged the young people to think about starting some small businesses as they study, He promised to offer each student that enters Makerere from Ndorwa East, a free copy of his book, Personal Finance Mastery: A simple guide on how to manage your money and How to start a a business in 10 days to help empower the students as they pursue their studies.
